Linking Discovery and Job Development The Minnesota Employment Training and Technical Assistance Center (MNTAT) in partnership with Minnesota APSE are inviting a small group of Customized Employment practitioners to join us for a 2 1/2 day Intensive Seminar covering:
•Review of Customized Employment Strategies and Techniques
•Steps & Stages of Discovering Personal Genius
•Conducting Respectful Home Visits
•Designing Discovery Activities that Illuminate Skills, Not Just Interests
•Developing The 3 Vocational Themes
•Conducting Informational Interviews with Businesses
•Moving from Smooth Talking to Smooth Listening
•Constructing the Job Development Lists of 20
•Using Resource Ownership & SSA Work Incentives
$125 registration fee includes Materials, Morning Coffee/Rolls, Lunches and refreshment breaks (payable to Minnesota APSE)
